HERA

HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation is a nationally recognized ovarian cancer nonprofit organization funding cutting edge research grants to leading scientists at respected medical institutions. In so doing, they expand the scientific understanding of ovarian cancer while improving the lives of those battling this disease. Their mission is to stop the loss of women from ovarian cancer by promoting: Health, Empowerment, Research, and Awareness (HERA). Through their programs of awareness of symptoms and education, including the HERA Climb for LifeSM series, and auxiliary special events, they empower healthy women and those undergoing treatment. United Cerebral Palsy & the Women Who Care Luncheon

This year, UCP/NYC celebrates 64 years of service to adults and children with cerebral palsy and related disabilities, helping them to achieve the most independent and productive lives possible. UCP/NYC also provides an array of services, from assistive technology and home accommodations that can benefit any person with disabilities, including the frail elderly, to nearly 200,000 health care services to a medically undeserved population.
